| Because you told me to, Ill go read it. But the real reason Utah is the "Mormon" state is because it was one of the only place they could go to get away from persecution way back when it was legal to kill mormons haha because of the whole polygamy thing. At that time Utah was mexican territory so they were free to do whatever they wanted there but it was also a giant desert. People figured they would die in a short time but nope.  God is just good like that

| If I'm not mistaken, weren't the plates found in Now York? If so that would establish the Mormons in America so they would have to leave, otherwise you have polygamists. I think that's right, but I'm not for sure. | |
